2.Conclusion(10 points):: Provide a conclusion in a paragraph at the end of each essay/answer The conclusion is engaging and restates the thesis and main ideas. The conclusion is based on the results of the analysis, as a logical extension of the findings, or demonstrates an understanding of the theory.
3.Organization(25 points):: The student fully and imaginatively supports the thesis and purpose. The sequence of ideas is effective. Transitions are effective.
4.Presentation of Ideas and Arguments (30 points): Substantial, logical, and concrete development of ideas is used. Assumptions are made explicit. Details are germane, original, and convincingly interpreted. Make sure you did not misuse facts and references that do not coincide with the author\’s statements.
5.Use of External Resources (10 points): Sources are used to support, extend, and inform, but not substitute the writerâs own development of an idea. The student combines material from a variety of sources, including personal observation, scientific data, and peer-reviewed articles. The student doesnât overuse quotes.
