his 2,200 word reflection asks you to analyse yourself and other leaders you may have observed in relation to Walumbwa et al.’s (2008) authentic leadership model. Walumbwa et al.’s model has four domains: 1. Self-awareness, 2. Balanced processing, 3. Relational transparency and 4. Internalized moral perspective. Using observations of yourself and other leaders in schools write a reflection on your own and others’ capacity to be authentic. Consider the domains in which you find it more difficult to be authentic. What have you noticed in other leaders? What factors hinder your or others\’ ability to be authentic? What factors assist your or other’s ability to be authentic? How does your authenticity influence your ability to lead others? Have you seen this in other leaders? What happens to those around you when you are authentic? What happens when you are not? What happens to you when other leaders are authentic? In your reflection you are required to integrate the personal, professional, and scholarly dimensions in your writing voice. You are required to make deliberate and explicit links with the readings you have been doing in this subject. That is, you must link key quotations, themes or research findings from your readings as the scholarly dimension of your voice.
