Follow the directions in the order presented below!!!!! 1. Before you read the chapters, write a paragraph about how you think marriage âhappensâ in modern society. Do not cite. This is opinion based!!! 2.Read the assigned chapters. 3. Then answer the question How has the institution of marriage changed over time? 4. Create a list of 7 questions that you feel would be useful in exploring these topics. List each question and its answer in your journal. Be sure to include your top three search results in each answer. Include hyperlinks to online sources within the text of your answers. PLEASE attach hyperlinks and only use ones that are easily accessible on the internet. Conclude with a paragraph that compares what you learned with what you thought you knew. Make sure you show content and not just opinion. Please read below on how it should be cited due to grading. Grading Feedback: Most everyone has a good base for assignments. To earn full points, 1.) perfect your APA style AND 2.) spend a lot more time discussing the course concepts that you learned versus your reaction. 3.) I realize that assignments may say \”reaction paper" or \”discussion\”, but demonstrating what you learned is a lot more important than telling your opinion. This will be critical for your last assignment. For example, some may write, \”I agree that protective factors are important,\” but that doesn\’t tell me if you learned anything. Instead, define Protective Factors (or other course vocabulary) and then give me a few examples of Protective Factors listed in your text or assigned reading. Each of those needs a citation, because you are referencing someone else\’s work. Then you can react – by linking your reaction back to the course themes you just defined and explained. And when you refer back to that source, cite again! All of those citations can be tedious, so experiment with other APA acceptable ways to give attribution. For example: In her 2007 book, Title, author Jane Doe argues that blah blah. Doe (2007) postulates that blah blah is important. Jane Doe further states that yadda yadda yadda (2007). This relates to my opinion/reaction of X Y Z, as relates to \”Short, direct quote from source\” (Doe, 2007 ). Yadda and blah are important factors influencing my reaction (Doe, 2007).
