In the first phase of the assignment, you will search an appropriate job that fits your current qualifications or qualifications you will achieve by end of this semester.Below is the description on building resume. Note: assignment description for cover letter will feature on week four (see schedule).The job has to be a real job but can be in any form: full-time/part-time, paid/unpaid, local/regional/national/international, face-to-face/virtual. For your search, you may refer to the job search database provided in the schedule. Also, please look for jobs that come with a job description/requirement page. This will help you to focus on the keywords.Once you have zeroed in on the job you like, select and make a list of the keywords from the job description. A good resume strategically sprinkle keywords to draw attention of the employer.Now looking at the examples, start creating your own resume. Make sure that you closely follow and analyze the style,design, and the format of the resume. It should begin with a letterhead, i.e., your name and contact info in the most attractive and professionally defined form, followed by an objective statement and other relevant sections. It must end with a \”reference available upon request line.\”Submission InstructionsYou will turn your resume and cover letter on or before by 11: 59 EST Friday, 2/19 (see schedule).
