Before submitting the final version of your assignment, you will receive feedback from two peers on your assignment and provide feedback to two of your peers on their work. Feedback will be anonymous to students (i.e., you wonât know who you are reviewing, or who is reviewing you), but will not be anonymous to the course instruction team (to ensure everyone is held accountable for providing fair and respectful feedback). You will use a grading rubric to evaluate your peerâs work in addition to providing constructive written feedback on each section of the assignment.
The key word here is constructive. If you have difficulty understanding something your peer has written or have an important clarification question that went unanswered, highlight this for them clearly and respectfully. If your peer has done a great job overall, be sure to let them know what pieces were especially well done and impactful, and also try to give them something to work with (e.g., give suggestions about a section they could expand on and how).
To ensure peer feedback is thorough, respectful, and of high-quality, you will also evaluate the utility of the feedback you received from your peer using a predetermined rubric (within Bongo Video Assignment). Feedback flagged as notably low-effort or disrespectful will be reviewed by the course team to determine whether other intervention is warranted.
You will also grade the written feedback you received from your classmates in terms of its helpfulness using the following brief rubric by copying one of the following grade statements in the comments below each received written feedback:
